Saturday Morning Cartoons Camp (grades 3-6) | June 30-July 1
Jump into the rhythm of hip hop and jazz dance that captures the essence of Saturday morning cartoons! We’ll also get creative with some crafts inspired by a leisurely Saturday morning of the 80s and 90s.
This is a morning-only dance camp. We’ll explore:
Hip hop and jazz technique and choreography set to the many styles of music found in cartoons
In between dancing, we’ll take craft breaks and lean in the nostalgia of the 80s and 90s
Other stuff you need to know:
Instructor: Cory Douylliez-Willis
June 30-July 3 (please note no camp on Friday, July 4) | Morning session from 9-12 | Drop-off up to 30 minutes before
Location: 211 N Lewis St, Staunton
Morning session campers should bring a snack and water bottle.
Dance does not require special clothes or equipment, just bare feet for jazz and tennis shoes for hip hop. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in.
